Mr. Gagliano brings more than 15 years of practical business and legal experience to the representation of clients in the music industry.  Our current clients include career artists and performing celebrities, as well as new and emerging talent.  We often begin our relationship with our clients before they have established a relationship with a record label, producer, publisher, manager or agent.  In many instances we play an instrumental role in helping our clients gain entry into the industry by "shopping" their material.  We assist them in finding, forming and developing relationships with key members of their production team. Established performers look to us for on going legal and business advice in connection with all aspects of their careers. We also represent songwriters, independent music producers, start-up publishing and recording ventures, night club operators and concert/tour promoters. Our music industry clients repeatedly turn to us for our drafting and negotiating expertise.  We prepare basic foundational documents such as recording, publishing and production agreements.  We also regularly draft and negotiate management and agency agreements, work-for-hire documents, video riders and merchandising contracts.
